On 24 August 2022, an evening was held at Žofín on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day with the participation of Warex spol. s r.o., a member of the Ukrainian-Czech Chamber of Commerce. It was the first social event of the Ukrainian-Czech Chamber of Commerce since its establishment in May 2022. It was the largest meeting so far aimed at the development of mutual relations, the restoration of Ukraine and current opportunities.
The evening included a silent auction of original sheets of Ukrposhta postage stamps and paintings by Ukrainian artists for the benefit of the Embassy of Ukraine.
Warex is ready to help rebuild the civil infrastructure destroyed during the war in Ukraine. Initially this may be to build accommodation for people who have lost their own homes.
Next, it may be building emergency intakes providing care for acutely ill or injured patients.
The next step may be the construction of public infrastructure such as kindergartens, schools, shops, houses or buildings with social and health services.
