Our latest project\u2014an extension to a preschool in Pilsen consisting of 9 residential modules<\/strong>\u2014proves that a modern preschool can literally spring up before your eyes without compromising on design or the children\u2019s comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Space Full of Life<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centerpiece of the extension is a spacious playroom<\/strong> that serves as the multifunctional heart of the kindergarten. It is a place where children can move freely, play, and also focus on educational activities. The entire space is complemented by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022    Modern changing rooms <\/strong>with ample storage space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022    Restroom facilities custom<\/strong>-designed to meet the ergonomic needs of the youngest children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology for health and thermal comfort<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forget the myths about \u201cmetal prefab units.\u201d This addition is at the cutting edge of technology:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underfloor heating:<\/mark><\/strong>
Ensures even warmth from the feet up, which is crucial in an environment where children play mostly on the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air conditioning with heat recovery:<\/strong><\/mark>
A constant supply of fresh air without the need to open windows (and lose heat) ensures an ideal microclimate for concentration and sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the outside, you would hardly guess the building\u2019s modular origin. The facade consists of an external insulation composite system<\/strong>, which gives the building the appearance of a traditional structure while significantly reducing costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The icing on the cake\u2014literally\u2014is the green roof. It serves several purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.    Thermoregulation<\/strong>: It naturally cools the building in summer and insulates it in winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.    Water retention:<\/strong> It retains rainwater in the landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.    Education:<\/strong> Children have nature right above their heads and learn to understand ecology in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
