In today’s world, where everything around us is changing at a dizzying pace, the importance of zoos is growing. They are no longer just places to relax, but are becoming key institutions for the protection of endangered species and the preservation of our planet’s biodiversity. We are therefore extremely pleased to announce news that warms our hearts.
As of April 2, 2026, WAREX spol. s r.o. has officially joined the Brno Zoo “pack” as a proud adoptive parent.
Who have we supported?
Our adoption helps ensure the care of three fascinating animal residents:
• Himalayan tahr
• Black lemur
• Swamp wallaby
Why does this matter?
The role of zoos is critical today, as more and more species face the threat of extinction. According to Brno Zoo Director Radana Dungelová, a pack is always stronger than an individual. Our support will be effectively used to improve these animals’ quality of life and overall well-being.
Through adoption, we become part of a broader conservation story that encompasses not only caring for animals within the zoo but also public education and wildlife conservation in the natural habitats of these species.
