We have completed the extension of the nursery school in Topolná, which responds to the growing capacity of preschool education and the need to create modern, energy-efficient, and comfortable facilities for children and staff.
The new building consists of five residential modules, which together form a fully-fledged and functionally arranged kindergarten workplace. The modular solution enabled rapid construction, high-quality workmanship, and minimal disruption to the school’s existing operations.
Layout
The extension includes complete operational facilities that meet current standards and requirements:
• vestibule
• cloakroom for children
• cloakroom for staff
• washroom and toilet for children
• playroom
• food reception and distribution area
• toilet for staff
• cleaning room
The dominant space is the playroom, which was designed with an emphasis on acoustic comfort and easy maintenance. An acoustic ceiling has been installed to reduce noise levels and create a pleasant environment for play and learning. The floor is covered with high-quality, durable PVC flooring, suitable for intensive use and easy hygienic maintenance.
Technical and energy solutions
The building is equipped with modern technologies that ensure comfort and energy efficiency:
• hot water heating
• air conditioning to ensure optimal temperature in the summer months
• photovoltaic panels (PV) to partially cover electricity consumption
• green roof, which contributes to improving the microclimate, thermal stability of the building, and rainwater retention
